As a pavement engineer with over 13 years of experience in consulting and academia, I specialise in materials. My passion lies in material behaviour and facilitating understanding. In my current role at Stellenbosch University, I lecture undergraduate modules, and conduct and supervise research related to pavement engineering and data analysis. My expertise includes the durability and ageing of bituminous materials, alternative binders for asphalt, recycled materials and machine learning applications for materials datasets. I am always interested in connecting with other professionals and exploring collaborative opportunities.
