Prof Michael McCaul (PhD) is a Associate Professor in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, clinical epidemiologist and guideline development consultant within the Department of Global Health, Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He has a clinical background in emergency care and a special interest in research methods, evidence synthesis and guideline development. He has experience in teaching, leading, building capacity and coordinating evidence synthesis and guideline development work, nationally and internationally. Michael has both research and teaching foci.
