OVERVIEW
My work explores contemporary transformations in social work, with a particular interest in global governance, the politics of diagnosis and the ways in which social policy shapes everyday practice. I draw on interdisciplinary perspectives and my publications include work on ADHS discourse, professional ethics and international social work development.
In addition to my academic research, I serve as Interim Secretary General of the International Federation of Social Workers. In this role I contribute to global policy processes, international partnerships and cross regional knowledge exchange. I am committed to strengthening evidence informed practice and promoting inclusive, context sensitive approaches across the profession.
I hold a PhD in Social Work as well as degrees in engineering and business administration. Across my work I aim to bridge scholarship and practice, encourage critical reflection and support future oriented thinking in the social professions.
