I'm an evolutionary biologist with great passion for the emerging fields of biomimicry, biomimetics and bioinspiration. My research focus is on finding innovative ways in which the immense potential of biodiversity, and evolution itself, can be explored to solve the problems that humanity is facing. In doing so, I also explore the practical, ethical and philosophical challenges associated with using nature as a source of inspiration for technological innovation.
