Dr Nishana Bhogal, PhD is a Fulbright fellow, an Associate of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, and holds a Master’s in Business Administration with Distinction (UCT). She holds a faculty position at Stellenbosch Business School, and her research focuses on Entrepreneurship in impoverished contexts.

Prior to commencing her PhD studies, Nishana gained extensive professional experience in the private and public sectors in South Africa and gained international exposure working in the Cayman Islands. During this time, she focused on re-engineering business processes and was a key contributor to numerous information systems design and implementation projects. In addition, Nishana played a pivotal role in business turnaround strategies and business intelligence.
