Pierre Erasmus has been part of the Department of Business Management at Stellenbosch University for the past 25 years. He is a passionate lecturer who strives to provide excellent teaching to his students. He lectures in Financial Management, focusing on financial planning and forecasting, with specific reference to the impact of capital investment and capital structure decisions on corporate valuation. His research is focused on the creation of sustainable long-term shareholder wealth, recognising the essential role of corporate social responsibility in achieving this.
