Dr. Samantha Budhram is a subspecialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine. She completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of the Witwatersrand, followed by specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. After obtaining her MMed in O&G and the FCOG(SA), she pursued subspecialist training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Stellenbosch University, where she earned her MPhil in 2015.

Dr. Budhram currently serves as the Head Clinical Unit for Maternal Fetal Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Tygerberg Hospital. She is also a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Stellenbosch University. Her areas of special interest include diabetes in pregnancy and fetal growth restriction. She is presently undertaking a PhD at Stellenbosch University, focusing on biomarkers in fetal growth restriction.
