Dr Charné Viljoen is a lecturer and researcher in Agronomy, with specific focus on Weed Science at Stellenbosch University. Her work focuses on sustainable weed management in Mediterranean-type dryland cropping systems, with specific emphasis on integrated weed management, alternative weed management strategies and herbicide resistance.In addition to research, she plays an active role in curriculum renewal, module coordination, and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
