Rudie is a chartered accountant and an associate professor in the field of taxation at the School of Accountancy (Stellenbosch University). Lecturing and research relating to corporate taxes for the past 15 years including VAT, international tax, dividends tax, taxation of different payout methods (dividends, share repurchases, capitalisation shares).
